Do I have to revisit old traumas to get rid of my anxiety?

No! The good news is that hypnosis can reduce anxiety without revisiting old traumas. Even in cases where clearing up unresolved past memories is helpful to the process of feeling better in your present day, there are ways to help your unconscious mind release old trauma without you having to consciously remember it.

Each hypnosis session is unique to the clients’ needs, but we can safely address the source of anxiety without reliving the events that caused it.

Can hypnosis for anxiety be done online?

Yes, virtual sessions have the same success rate as in-person sessions. In some cases, such as when travel is a cause for anxiety, it works best this way. One recent client found that our hypnosis session was the most relaxed her body felt all week long, so she used the time right after logging off to get some much needed rest.

How does a hypnosis for anxiety session work?

Basically, hypnosis allows us to better tap into your brain's natural ability to rewire itself (neuroplasticity). In this state, I use techniques to address the triggers of your anxiety and replace them with feelings of calm, confidence, and resilience. In addition to the hypnotic portion of the session, I also teach quick, easy to use tools to continue making progress on your own beyond our session times.
